Higher Education Sexual Misconduct and Awareness (HESMA) Survey (4/2 - 5/2)

Students are invited to take part in the Higher Education Sexual Misconduct and Awareness (HESMA) Survey from April 2-May 2, 2024. HESMA is a national survey initiative that aims to understand and address issues related to sexual misconduct and awareness on college campuses. This survey is being conducted by an independent research firm, which keeps your participation confidential.

The basketball court serves as an experiential classroom for leadership and diversity. The skills developed on the court can positively impact not only the players but also their communities by fostering inclusivity, embracing diversity, and breaking down barriers. Leaders in basketball can contribute to creating a more equitable and understanding society. Join this discussion with Harvard affiliates and leaders on and off the court to learn how you can further amplify the impact of sports as a powerful tool for social change.
Moderated by James I. Cash, the James E. Robison Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, Harvard Business School. Welcome and opening remarks by Erin McDermott, the John D. Nichols ’53 Family Director of Athletics.

The Past is Not Past: Reckoning with the History & Contemporary Manifestations of American Slavery (4/23)

The HBS Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Task Force kicks off a community-wide speaker series with a fireside chat featuring writer, poet, and scholar Clint Smith, author of How the Word Is Passed: A Reckoning With the History of Slavery Across America. This event will be moderated by Keyra Singleton, public history scholar and Executive Director of the Royall House and Slave Quarters.

SSA Recipe Contest Winning Dish Served in The Grille (04/23)

The Student Sustainability Associates ran a plant-based recipe contest in April to encourage more sustainable food practices. Congratulations to Kaitlin Hearn (Section F), for submitting the winning recipe! Kaitlin’s dish, a plant-based Walnut Mushroom Bolognese Pasta, will be served in The Grille during lunch hour on April 23 – come by to give it a try!

The Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard presents its annual Spring Show and Sale, May 9-12, 2024, at its studio facility at 224 Western Avenue, Allston, Massachusetts. A short walk from HBS. This four-day sale will feature original ceramic works by over 90 artists affiliated with the program, including instructors, staff, and students. Admission is free and open to the public.
