Vision for SA '22

  • Our platform: create programming, training and the spaces to help RCs and ECs think critically about DEI at HBS and post-HBS

  • Your vision: Hold HBS accountable for implementing and institutionalizing the measures outlined by the Dean's Anti-Racism task force and facilitate DEI initiatives that support all affinity groups and engage the entire HBS community.

    Organize and align with various DEI bodies (Affinity Groups, DEI Council, HBS administrators) Leverage RC DEI Reps to support thematic goals outlined below

1. Socioeconomic Inclusion: Work with HBS office of financial aid, SITF, and affinity groups to ensure equitable scholarships and community building--Socioeconomic Team

2. Alumni Engagement: Creating strong base of vocal alumni, identify DEI-related demands, and advocate for implementation--DEI Rep

3. Admissions: Work with admissions to make student body more equitable

4. Academics: Implement required curriculum on DEI + progress on diverse cases and faculty--Set up meeting with Matt Wienzerel

5. Programming: Cross cultural lines by getting high profile speakers to talk about DEI--DEI Rep

6. Coordinate with Peer Institutions: Create a coalition of business schools to hold companies accountable for DEI metrics--RC DEI

7. Data Collection: Support DEI-related data collection initiatives--RC
